Mount Eliza Garden
With this project, the original retaining walls and turf were preserved as they were in good condition.
The client decided on an Australian plant selection with vibrant red and yellow Kangaroo Paws, hues of green from Hebe ‘Emerald Gem’, through to Loropetalem ‘Plum Gorgeous’ placed against the rocks to soften the rock edges and shape.
Some plants were chosen for their vigour including grass trees and Acacia ‘Waterfalls’ that were placed up against a feature wooden thatch screen.
The Oriental Pearl Rhaphiolepis ‘Oriental Pearl’ were chosen for their shape and contrasting foliage and flower colour against the Camellias and Hebes which were used along the driveway for continuity.
